If the airline cancels your flight within 14 days of departure, or you experience significant delays (more than three hours), you may be entitled to compensation under EU Regulation 261/2004. Whether or not you are entitled to compensation depends on various factors such as the reason for the cancellation or delay, the route and the airline you are flying with. It can sometimes be quite difficult to claim compensation successfully. Our partner Air Help, specialises in claiming compensation for delays and denied boarding on behalf of air passengers.
